Procore: The tax number field must be 9 characters.
Symptoms
When pushing Vendors, you get the error message: Procore: The tax number field must be 9 characters
Causes
- Procore requires the tax number field on Vendors to be exactly 9 characters long. There may be a special character in the tax code, or there may be a typo.
How to fix
Fix tax number
- Change the tax number on the Vendor record in Spectrum to be exactly 9 characters. If you need to have a special character in Spectrum, let your Agave account manager know and they can omit the special character when syncing to Procore.
Omit tax number
- If you don't need to send the tax number over to Procore with the Vendor, let your Agave account manager know and they can omit it.
