Procore: The tax number field must be 9 characters.

Symptoms

When pushing Vendors, you get the error message: Procore: The tax number field must be 9 characters

Causes

1. Procore requires the tax number field on Vendors to be exactly 9 characters long. There may be a special character in the tax code, or there may be a typo.

How to fix

Fix tax number

1. Change the tax number on the Vendor record in Spectrum to be exactly 9 characters. If you need to have a special character in Spectrum, let your Agave account manager know and they can omit the special character when syncing to Procore.

Omit tax number

1. If you don't need to send the tax number over to Procore with the Vendor, let your Agave account manager know and they can omit it.
