Autodesk Build: Budget Code Segment Setup

Symptoms​

When pushing Expenses or Budget Line Items to Autodesk Build, you get the error message: Autodesk Build: The budget code format for Project XXXX expects a segment XXXX that has not been set in the request..

Causes​

This error occurs when the budget segment settings for that project have not been setup to match your Agave configuration.

How to fix​

  1. Set up the Budget Line Item settings for that Project. See: How to Configure Autodesk Budget Codes to Match your Accounting System
    1. If this is a new Project, it may be easier to delete, then recreate the Project with a template.
  2. Resync the original record, or link it if it already exists in Autodesk Build.

If there is already a Project template with these settings, avoid manually creating Projects in Autodesk Build without the Project template
