Autodesk Build Budget Code Segment X not found! Ensure that the segment name is correctly configured in the Autodesk Build Project settings.

Symptoms​

When syncing Cost Codes or Cost Types, you get the error message: Autodesk Build Budget Code Segment 'X' not found! Ensure that the segment name is correctly configured in the Autodesk Build Project settings.

Causes​

  1. As part of integration setup, Autodesk requires Agave to write the Cost Codes to the exact segment that is set up in Autodesk. Because these budget code segments are user defined, oftentimes the name of the segment in Autodesk does not match exactly to what Agave is trying to write to.
  2. It is important to let your Agave account manager know exactly what the Budget Code segment is called to ensure your budget code segments will sync.

How to fix​

Ensure your Budget Code setup in Autodesk matches what your Agave account manager adds to your settings.​

  1. In Cost Management, navigate to Settings > Budget > Budget Code Format.

  1. To edit the name of the segment, click the pencil icon next to the name.
