Common Errors and FAQs
What are pre-requisites to syncing Equipment from ComputerEase to Procore?
- The Equipment tool must be enabled in Procore.
- Each ComputerEase Equipment record needs a Fleet Code. Agave uses Fleet Code as the Procore Category, and Procore will reject Equipment that has no Category.
- Those Fleet Codes (and the Equipment Type) must already exist in Procore. See Map Equipment Categories and Types.
Equipment is company-level in both systems, so you do not need to sync Projects first.
Map Equipment Categories and Types
Procore requires a Category and a Type on every Equipment record.
Agave maps ComputerEase Fleet Code to Procore Category. Add each Fleet Code you plan to sync as a Category under Procore Equipment Settings.
Procore Type is handled in one of two ways:
- Default Type (recommended). Ask your Agave Account Manager to set a default Equipment Type (for example, "Heavy Equipment"). Every ComputerEase Equipment record is written with that Type, so you only need that one Type to exist in Procore.
- Fleet Code as Type. If no default Type is set, Agave uses the Fleet Code as the Type as well. In that case, each Fleet Code must exist as both a Category and a Type in Procore.
Equipment with a blank Fleet Code cannot sync. Add a Fleet Code in ComputerEase, then re-sync.
Why isn't Model synced to Procore?
ComputerEase stores Model but not Make. Procore requires a Make whenever a Model is present, so Agave does not write Model (or Make) to Procore.
Error: Equipment has no fleet code to use as the category
Procore requires a Category, and Agave uses ComputerEase Fleet Code for that value. Equipment with no Fleet Code is skipped.
Add a Fleet Code on the Equipment record in ComputerEase, then re-sync.
Error: Could not find Procore ID for equipment category / type / status
The Category, Type, or Status value Agave is sending does not match a record that already exists in Procore.
- In Procore, open Equipment Settings (gear icon) and confirm the Category and Type exist, with names that match ComputerEase exactly.
- If you are using a default Equipment Type, confirm that Type exists in Procore and that the name matches what your Agave Account Manager configured.
- Re-sync after the Procore values are in place.
