Symptoms
When pushing an Expense (Direct Cost) to Procore, you get the error message: Procore: Failed to translate WBS. This may be because the provided Cost Code is not nested under the provided Sub Job..
Causes
This error appears because the cost code on the Expense you are trying to push is not nested under the relevant sub job in your Procore Work Breakdown Structure.
How to fix
- Link to the correct cost code in Procore:
- Go to the cost codes page in Agave Sync under Core (per-project)
- Make sure to fetch latest data so that you're viewing your most recent cost code list
- Switch to the Procore view and toggle on the sub job column
- Search for your cost code and look to see that the relevant sub job is populated in the sub job column
- If your cost code is improperly linked, then unlink and relink to the correct one
- Retry syncing
