Configuration

Spectrum to Autodesk

Agave creates a single Forecast Adjustment Line with the Estimated Cost at Completion from Spectrum. To view the Forecast Adjustment, select the 3 dots for a line on the budget view and click "Edit Forecast Adjustment":

The single Forecast Adjustment represents the total Estimated Cost at Completion for this budget code from Spectrum:

note

Agave will update this same line item each time Cost Projections are synced, so it will continue to reflect the full estimated cost at completion (rather than syncing in additional adjustments).

Configuring the Budget View

By default, Autodesk's Forecast Final Cost calculation uses the original estimate, costs committed and incurred thus far, and Forecast Adjustments. Since Agave is syncing the pre-calculated estimated cost at completion from Spectrum, you will need to reconfigure this calculation on your Autodesk budget view such that Forecast Final Cost (in the budget view) = Forecast Adjustments.

Redefining the Budget View

Go to Settings > Budget Overview Columns > Manage

Find the “Forecast Final Cost” column:

Since Autodesk doesn’t allow editing the default column calculations, rename and duplicate it. Then, make the calculation of the new column only “Forecast Adjustments”:

Go back to the Budget View and replace the old column ("Default - Forecast Final Cost") with the new one ("Forecast Final Cost"):
